The Ferry Cap & Set
Screw Company specializes in the manufacture of cold-headed, high-strength,
precision fasteners. Founded in 1906, Ferry Cap is still headquartered at its
original site at the top of Cleveland's historic Flats district, and is now a
division of Doncasters.
Since the 1950's, Ferry Cap has pioneered and expanded the use of the
Countr-bor screw in worldwide industrial applications as a superior
alternative and replacement of the socket-head cap screw. For nearly 30 years
Ferry Cap was the only fastener manufacturer to maintain a complete packaged
goods inventory of this product, serving hundreds of fastener distributors
and OEM customers worldwide. Ferry Cap is an approved supplier for such
notable companies as Caterpillar Tractor, International Truck and Engine,
Detroit Diesel, Cummins Engine, Dana, John Deere, and Mack Trucks.
To provide our customers with the highest quality product, Ferry Cap employs
a unique Total Quality Control program, including such techniques as
Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and other advanced
statistical techniques. These processes monitor every facet of fastener
production, ensuring that the end product meets your tough performance
specifications.
The most advanced manufacturing techniques, design engineering, and top-notch
quality control combine to work together in keeping our worldwide customer
base at work. Our customers depend on this. And we deliver.
